[China Aluminum Network] Luliang has made great achievements in attracting investment for the aluminum processing industry recently. The total investment reaches 338.05billion RMB and 61 projects are attracted. The biggest project has a total investment of 40billion RMB and is estimated to have an annual output of 2million tons.
“Luliang is abundant in bauxite. However, before 2008, we are just digging for bauxite locally and selling them out.”An official of the investment department said, “after the Hangzhou Jinjiang Group is introduced to Luliang, we’ve ended this action.” Earlier this year, Jinjiang Group and the Luliang government have agreed to invest 40billion in a new project.
Zhang Jianyang, vice-president of Jinjiang Group said, “the new project mainly targets in deep processing aluminum including auto parts, high-end aluminum foil, packaging materials for food and drug, etc.
