[China Aluminum Network] From January to July, aluminum industry in Baise has achieved gross industrial output value of 21.11billion RMB which occupies 53% of that of Guangxi Province. The aluminum industry has gradually become an engine for the economic development in Baise. In this process, private economy is the main driving force.

Baise is abundant in bauxite and it is one of the four biggest bauxite bases in China. It has a prospective reserve of more than 1billion tons which occupies one forth of China’s total bauxite reserve. Baise’s bauxite is universally acknowledged as a high-quality resource which is shallow buried and easy to exploit.
After years of development, 3 aluminum production bases have been established at the end of 2010. Now, the aluminum industry has become the first pillar industry of Baise as well as the key development industry of Guangxi province.

The private economy is a genuine driving force which has contributed to the rapid development of Baise’s aluminum industry. For example, one of the private enterprises, Guangxi Xinfa Company of Aluminum and Electric has achieved gross industrial output value of 6.959billion RMB from January to July. It is expected to become the first company whose output value could exceed 10billion in Guangxi this year.
