Chinalco Yunnan Copper Resources and Rio Tinto Signs Agreement on Chile Copper Mine Exploration

[China Aluminum Network]September 8, Melbourne. Chinalco Yunnan Copper Resources Ltd said on Thursday that it had signed an transfer agreement with Rio Tinto and it would acquire shares of a copper mine in northern Chile.

Chinalco Yunnan Copper Resources said its subsidiary company in Chile would acquire 40% shares of this joint-venture copper mine.
