    Chongqing Constructs Aluminum Processing Base

    [China Aluminum Network] August 26, Chongqing Xipeng Aluminum Industrial Park is the aluminum processing park with distinguished characteristic in Chongqing with a total area of 65 square kilometers.


    The industrial park takes Chialco Southwest Aluminum as the base, developing advanced technology as the core and emphasizes aluminum profile deep processing.


     


    Chongqing government and Chinalco signed an agreement in Beijing to build a city of Chinese aluminum processing on March 11th, 2006. It plans to take eight to ten years to construct Chinese aluminum processing base in Chongqing. The base is designed with first level equipment and technology, large-scale production capacity, improved production chain and complete service equipment.


     


    The industry park has achieved production of CNY 27.6 billion and formed an intact production chain from electrolytic aluminum to aluminum profile processing.
