[China Aluminum Network] August 25, Data from Chinese Custom shows that Chinese aluminum alloy exportation amounts to 64, 161 ton in July rising by 21.38% in the corresponding period last year. From January to July this year, aluminum alloy exportation reaches 379,819 ton up by 28.54% year-on-year. The dramatic increase of aluminum alloy exportation mainly attributes to Japanese rising demand.

Affected by Japan earthquake, Chinese Q2 aluminum alloy exportation appears to decline which making an obvious contrast with that of last year. Aluminum alloy exportation in June only reaches 52,000 ton which is the first negative growth this year.

Thus condition has improved in July due to Japanese strong demand for aluminum alloy. According to Chinese Custom, aluminum alloy exported to Japan amounts to 31,395 ton grows by 12.06% year-on-year and 48.25% more than that in June.

It is reported that both Japanese new orders since the earthquake and the delayed orders from the previous times together contribute to the increasing exportation of aluminum alloy in July.
