[China Aluminum Network] August 24, According to Luoyang Customs, Luoyang aluminum profile exportation has recovered to grow during the first seven months. Its aluminum profile exportation reaches 17,000 ton up by 2.2% over the same period last year and exportation revenue reaches 51.21 million Yuan rising by 17.5% year-on-year.
Luoyang aluminum profile mainly exports to U.S., South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Brazil and European Union etc. Due to the financial crisis, its aluminum profile exportation has dropped deeply at the end of 2008. After its nadir on March, 2009, exportation appears slow increasing. Though Luoyang aluminum profile exportation remains stable during the previous seven months , its scale has not yet reached the level before financial crisis took place.
Officials of Luoyang Customs introduce that aluminum price basically remains at one-fifth of copper price as copper price is rising frequently. The substitution of aluminum for copper by many enterprises makes a strong demand for aluminum products.
