    Cost of Electricity Rising, Aluminum Enterprises Pressure Increasing

    [China Aluminum Network] August 23, Henan Province Known as “large city for electrolytic aluminum” has 600 to 700 aluminum enterprises among which nearly ten companies are well-known national wide. According to Fubao source, cost of electrolytic aluminum industry rises rapidly and small and medium-sized enterprises face tremendous pressure.


    Aluminum Products Export Rebates or Drops by 4%
    Sources from some aluminum processing enterprises indicate that Treasury Department is planning to downgrade some commodities export rebates. Part of the aluminum products export rebate will drops from the current 13% to 9% as a result of U.S. anti-dumping policy against China. According to relevant officials of CHALCO Henan Aluminum, Q3 has seen sharp declining in aluminum products exportation after a dramatic price increasing in the previous months.


    Enterprises Faces More and More Pressure
    With the cancellation of power favorable policy and implementation of series of profit reducing policy such as export rebates, electrolytic aluminum industry starts to enter a period of deflation and many small and medium-size enterprises have gone out of competition.
