70% of Chinalco Investment will Concentrate on Western Region for the Twelfth Five-Year Plan

[China Aluminum Network] August 22, during the period of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan, Chinalco’s investment in the western region will account for more than 70% of the total amount.

On the International Wine Exposition, General Manager of Chinalco, Xiong Weiping says that Chinalco comprehensive strength ranks first in our country and has formed a complete industry chain from mine resources, production capacity separation to research of terminal products.

Xiong Weiping indicates that Chinalco accounts for 50% of the total investment in the western region. It will give key priority to invest in the western region with excellent resources and advantage of backwardness.
