    Qinghai Province will Invest 20 Billion Yuan to Seek Minerals

    [China Aluminum Network] August 16, vice governor of Qinghai province, Luo Yulin indicates in the eighth forum of National Reform and Development for Non-ferrous Metal Geology Exploration that in the next five years, Qinghai will make great effort to explore minerals. They will strive for 3 billion Yuan input of geology exploration and 20 billion funds of various geology prospecting during the twelfth five-year plan.


    As a hinge area and situated at northeast of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Qinghai is a well-known metallogenic belt with 58 resource reserve rank the top ten in our country, especially power and water, salt lake ,petroleum and natural gas and non-ferrous metal are of great significance.


    It is said that during the eleventh five-year plan, Qinghai has contributed 3.41 billion Yuan to geology exploration with17 newly found minerals and made great breakthrough of gold, silver, copper etc..
