Yunnan Aluminium Co. Ltd. Sale Revenue Reaches 3.991 billion Yuan in the First Half Year

[China Aluminum Network] August 15, according to Yunnan Aluminum report, it has reached 3.991 billion Yuan sale revenue in H1 increasing by 24.41% in the corresponding period last year. Net profit that belongs to the parent company reaches 31,350,000 Yuan rising by 177.49% year-on-year.

Yunnan Aluminum production in the first half year achieves 263,600 tons with 14.05% year-on – year increase. Aluminum ingot and aluminum processing product reaches 260,900 ton growing by 11.85% over the same period last year.

Yunnan Aluminum indicates that the rising gross and net profit is mainly the result growing aluminum price in this year.
Though domestic electrolytic aluminum enterprises all had experienced recession last year, its price has rising continually from the lowest 14000 Yuan/Ton since this May as a result of one year adjustment. During two months, Price of electrolytic aluminum increases from 16500 Yuan/Ton to 18500 Yuan/ Ton in the beginning of August.

Chief industry analyst of EMC stock Hengkun considers Yunnan Aluminum as one of the best electrolytic aluminum enterprises with excellent control of production cost. 800,000 tons of alumina projects is under building and will put into operation this year. It is estimated to reduce alumina cost by 500 Yuan/Ton at least with rich and high-quality bauxite resource in the located Wenshan area.
