China: Cancelled the Discounts on Energy

According to yesterday's issue of 'Il Sole 24 Ore', the discounts on the supply of electrical energy the Chinese aluminium and ferrous alloy producers benefit from have been cancelled in at least 18 provinces.

This measure aims at the energy saving and results in an increase of the unit price.
A very important piece of news when considering that China is the major producer and consumer of aluminium.
