The Spot Price of Chalco¡¯s Alumina Likely to Go up

Domestic Non-chalco alumina enterprises currently raise the spot price to 4500 yuan/t. According to Insiders, the main cause is that Chalco has raised the spot price of alumina from the current price 4200Yuan/t as well as supply decline at international market and strong demand at domestic market.

It is said that the cost of aluminium fireproof enterprises is certain to go up. Some analysts say that the price of some aluminium products like bauxite will also go up along with the price rise of alumina.
