    The Biggest Coal, Electricity and Aluminium Project in China South-western Officially Launched

    [China Aluminum Network] July 27, Guizhou province, one of the three richest areas in bauxite, domestic largest bauxite exploitation and integration of coal, electricity and aluminum project, namely CPI Guizhou Zunyi coal, electricity and aluminum project, has recently come into operation. It would be the largest modern aluminum base in China Southwest area after completed.


    It is learned Guizhou Development and Reform Commission show that with many years’ investigation and preparation, Wa Chang Ping bauxite which located in the core area of Wuchuan-Zheng’an-Daozhen Bauxite has formally start working. This marks the construction of coal, electricity and aluminum project has taken a substantial step.


    It is known that the Wa Changping Mining Area is a mating item of the coal, electricity and aluminum projects. The mining area is expected to exploit 1,000,000 tons of mineral per year and the total construction investment has reached 469 million.
