The Japan Furukawa Sky attends 2011 China International Aluminum Industry Expo

 Asia's largest aluminum industry expo "ALUMINIUMCHINA2011" will be held in Shanghai international expo center in July 13 to 15. One of the Japan’s largest integrated aluminum metal roll producers Furukawa Sky will participate in this exhibition for the fifth time. Then the products what are thick plate, car body plank, EV automobile, related products of lithium ion battery, heat exchanger component etc. will be exhibited. In addition, it will introduce its sub company in China. And all entrepreneurs are welcomed to the exhibition hall of Furukawa Sky. We hope we can cooperate in the flourish Chinese market in the future.

  Furukawa Sky Co., Ltd is one of the Japan's largest integrated aluminum metal roll producers. It produces aluminium plate, extrusion products, casting, forging products and processed products mentioned above. Furukawa Sky join hands with consumers from variety of industries, pursuing the infinite possibility of aluminum and keep creating “the new value”.

  Furukawa Sky was founded in 2003 by the merge of Furukawa Electric Industrial Co., Ltd's light metals department and Sky Aluminum Co., Ltd.. Despite this company didn't set up for many years, its predecessor Furukawa Electric Industrial Co,. Ltd. have a long historical standing for it started the research on aluminum wire since 1910. In the later 100 years, Furukawa Electric accumulated rich experience and performances. Based on its outstanding ability of solving problems, Furukawa Electric steadily offer high quality products for consumers.

  Furukawa Sky owes three Roll factories ( Fukui, Fukays, Sunlight ), two extrusion factories ( Mound and Shiga) and a casting forging factory. All of these 6 production points passed “ISO9001” authentication. Besides, Fukui, Mound, Shiga and the casting forging factory also passed “AS9100” authentication which concerned to aerospace, while Fukays passed “TS16949” authentication concerned to automobile.

  In recent years, under the tendency of global development, Furukawa Sky speeds up its global business.

  In China, by means of funding in Ru Yuan Dong Yang Guang Fine Foil Co., Ltd, Furukawa Sky participated in the business of aluminum products. Besides the investment in capital, it also offered technical guidance in producing of aluminum products used in car exchanger and printing plate, at the same time, it helps in developing and producing high quality products. In terms of extrusion products, Furukawa Sky set up Furukawa ( Tianjing) precision aluminum Co,. Ltd., which mainly focus on the production and sales of extrusion products used in car exchanger. Furthermore, it also set up Furukawa Sky Shanghai Aluminium Co., Ltd. in Shanghai as its POS in China. At present, it mainly in charge of China’s domestic and foreign sales of aluminum products used in car exchanger produced by Ru Yuan Dong Yang Guang Fine Foil Co., Ltd.. In future, it will set about distributing high quality thick plate ( the maximum thickness is 350mm) used for liquid crystal, semiconductor manufacturing equipment and mould etc., and aluminium used for car. Besides meets China market needs, Furukawa Sky also completes its system in seeking resolutions during the process of its development.

  Not only in China, Furukawa Sky also funding in British Bridgnorth Aluminium Ltd. and American ARCO Aluminum Inc. ( USA), respectively as production and sales points for pringting plate and tank material. It also signed a document on concerned technical assistance of aluminium used for car heat exchanger with Greek Hellenic Aluminium Industry S.A. In addition, Furukawa Sky set up a cutting and processing company—Fureukawa-Sky Aluminum( Thailand) Co. Ltd in Tailand as its production and sales point of aluminium used for car heat exchanger in southeast Asia. And it also set up a production point of extrusion products used for car heat exchanger in Indonesia—PT. Furukawa Indal Aluminum, a production point of compressor wheel used for automotive turbocharger in Vietnam—Furukawa-Sky Aluminum( Vietunm) Inc..

  In recent years, Furukawa Sky mainly focus on transportation, keep accumulating its globalization on tank material and printing plate and greatly develop its business overseas.
