    Century aluminum nominated Peter Jones as the member of the directorate.

        Century aluminum claimed that the company has already approved Peter Jones to join the directorate.


    Jones has 38 years of experience in metal and mining industry. He has served in the Inco co., ltd for nearly 10 years. From April 2001 to Nov 2006, he was the CEO of the company. Before joining in Inco, he once was the president and CEO in Hudson Bay mining and smelting company, and a senior executives in Prineton mining group and Newmont mining co., ltd.


    The president of century aluminum company Craig Davis said, ‘ we are very pleased that peter can join the directorate who will bring rich experience in metal and mining for the company. We will continue to devote to building century aluminum company as an even greater and more competitive multinational company.


    Century aluminum company set original aluminum smelters in the United States and Iceland and owns alumina and aluminum mineral assets in U.S and Jamaica. The headquarter is in the Monterrey area of California.
