Chinalco Shanxi Branch 830million Alumina Project Officially Opening

 (China Aluminum Network) June 7, on June 3rd, China Aluminum Co., Shanxi branch invests 830million to the exploration and renovation of alumina project officially comes into operation.

The exploration and renovation of alumina project of China Aluminum Co., Shanxi branch is according to the objective demands of all-round structural adjustment and the strategic planning of the 12th five years plan of Chinalco. Follow the development path of circular economy transformation, promote the stock with the increase of production, and carry out the key projects of structural adjustment. The theme of this project is “circulation of conventional industries, to realize low carbon development of high carbon industry”, plan to build raw material grinding and High-pressure pump room such subsidiary engineering.  Advanced technology, high degree of resource utilization and low cost are the main characteristics of this project.

The project will finished in September, 2012, after finish it will produces annual production of 500thousand tons low energy consumption alumina, newly increased total industrial output value reaches 1300million Yuan, profit and taxes reaches 300million Yuan.
