(China Aluminum Network) May 30, recently Zhongfu Industrial released a detailed plan of share acquisition: pay 225million Yuan for acquire 45% share rights of Yulian Group, object involves four coal mines. The recoverable reserves of these four coal mines reaches 59.71million tons, capacity reaches 1.95million tons per year. Two of them can produce 0.75million tons at the end of this year. Through the two acquisition of this year, Zhongfu Industrial creates coal—electricity—aluminum industrial chain.

However it happened to coincide with the ideas that reported on the 6th Shanghai Aluminum & Copper Summit which held in Shanghai Jin Jiang Oriental Hotel last weekend. SMM considers that the expansion of Chinese Aluminum Electrolysis Enterprises was on the basis of possessing coal resources. Those former independent power plants can not completely meet the cost control of Aluminum Electrolysis Enterprises. Take the existing new Aluminum Electrolysis projects as examples that the majority of them are rely on the local abundant coal resources and tempt to possess the local coal resources to ensure independent power plants have enough coal.

The coal and electricity conflict has been the primary reason of power shortage, while owing to the rising of coal price, the rising of electrovalence has become necessary. Thus, as Aluminum Electrolysis Enterprises, the problem is not power shortage any more, but coal shortage.
