Baise City to be Built as the Key Aluminium Industry Base in China and Asia

According to the news from Guangxi, Representative of People’s Congress of Guangxi Municipality and Mayor of Baise City, Liu Zhengdong announces that Baise is trying to be the key aluminium industry base in Asia.
Liu Zhengdong also says that Baise is rich in abundant manganese mine and copper mine besides aluminium mine. The committee and Municipal Government propose particular resources-oriented industry development strategy of “ water and electricity combined, aluminium and electricity combined, mine and electricity combined, woods and paper combined” in order to form stable industry chain.
He also indicates that Baise is expected to form a large aluminium production scope with annual capacity of 5 million ton alumina, 1.5 million ton electrolyze aluminium and 1.2 million ton aluminium deep processing products.
