MII: Q1 Nonferrous Metals Output Reaches 8.1 Million Tons

(China Aluminum Network) April 19, Ministry of Industry and Information reported China Q1 industrial operation. Ten kinds of nonferrous metals output reached 8100,000 tons, which rose by 9.3% YoY.
Refined copper production reached 1,270,000 tons, which rose by 14.6%;electrolytic aluminum output reached 4,060,000 tons with an increase of 1.6% YoY.
The figure also showed that petrochemical industrial added value grew 12%, which declined 4% YoY. Chemical industry rose by 15.3%, down 7.8%. Crude oil processing reached 111 million tons, which rose by 10.2% YoY. Ethylene production reached 3.95 million tons, which rose by 32%. Fertilizer touched 14,430,000 tons, which rose by 6%.
