Aluminum Westward Movement to Appear in Five Years

(China Aluminum Network) A “Westward Movement” in Chinese aluminum industry will appear in the next five years.

"It is expected China will have more than 10 large enterprise groups which boast million tons of electrolytic aluminum capacity and processing capacity. The core output will take up 60% of national total capacity. Electrolytic aluminum production in Xinjiang, Qinghai, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Yunnan, may account for more than 50% of China’s total output." Li Defeng, Ministry of China Nonferrous Metals Industrial Association said on the 17th China Nonferrous Metals Chain Development Forum.
