China's aluminium development faces serious challenges in 2011

(China Aluminium Network) China’s alumina output grew obviously on large imports of bauxite imports in 2010.Primary alumiinum output created record high on strong demand. Physical consumption of China’s promary aluminium reached 16 million tons or so.

As global financial crisis goes away, developed countires had stepped on recovery, which largely improved China’s aluminium exports. But due to developed ecnomic unbalance, newly emerging economic development faces inflation pressure. China’s aluminium export trade has become the Key area of friction. China’s aluminium exports encountered trade barrier. With strong trend of RMB appreciation, China’s aluminium development is still facing uncertainity of market demand.
