Chinalco tries to get 500 million tons of bauxite resources

£¨China Aluminum Network£©Aluminium Corporation of China (referred to Chinalco) turned losses into progits in 2010. Chinalco held ammual report meeting in Shanghai. The major reason why Chinalco gained profits in 2010 was that leading products price rose, measures for turing losess into profits tookk initial effect and production and sales increased.

The annual report showed that Chinalco achieved net rpofit of 778 million yuan in 2010, but deficit 4.619 billion yuan in 2009.

At the news release press, Chinalco said the company planned to invest 22.5 billion Yuan to get 500 million tons of bauxite resources in China and abroad.
