Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group has yearly output of 852,000 tons

(China Aluminium Network) Tongling nonferrous has Jinchang smelting factory, Zhang Jiagang United Copper Co.,Ltd, Jinlong Copper and Chifeng Jinjian Copper smelting plant. Yearly output of copper cathode reaches 852,000 tons / year, sulphuric acid 1.75 million tons / year. Presently the company is building Jinjian copper smelting expansion project (second phase) with 20,000 tons of copper and 40 million tons of copper cathode per year as well as 1,515,000 tons of sulphuric acid. The company’s profit mainly comes from refined copper and it is possible that coper resources wil grow in the future. The parent company Anhui Shaxi Copper owned by Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group has explored 32 million tons of copper minerals. Meanwhile the group and China Railway Construction have purchased Ecuador Corriente copper which has about 11.54 million tons of copper reserves.
