Lianyun port becomes China¡¯s first port of alumina imports

£¨China Aluminium Network£©Lianyun port in Jiangsu province is China’s first port of alumina imports. The annual alumina has reached more than than 260 million tons. The growth range ranks top among domestic other coastal ports. Alumina imports takes up about half of China’s whole alumina imports. Lianyun port has alumina storage and as a trade platform, Lianyun port has more advantages for alumina shipment. Lianyun port has been a true distribution and trade center for China’s alumina. Currently Aluminium Corporation of China, China Minmetals and other trade companies regard Lianyun port as alumina transit base and deal with alumina trade at the port.
