China Ranks Second as Armenian Trade Partner

(China Aluminum Network)Armenian National Bureau of Statistics shows that till last January China is still Armenian second largest trade partner. Trade between Armenia and China reached $ 390,000,000 from January to November 2010, which rose by 55.5% YoY and trade deficit was $ 330,000,000. Armenia and China’s total trade accounted for 9.1% of Armenian total foreign trade. Russia continues to be Armenian largest trade partner. Trade between Armenia and Russia reached $ 890,000,000 from January to November 2009, which rose by 9.7% YoY and trade deficit was $ 610,000,000. Armenia and Russia’s trade took up 20.8% of Armenian total foreign trade. Germany ranked third as a trade partner with $ 310,000,000 trade with Armenia, which rose by 18.7% YoY. Armenia and Germany’s trade took up 7.3% of Armenian total foreign trade.
From January to November 2010, Armenian total foreign trade reached $ 4,270,000,000, which rose by 18.9% YoY. Among these, the export value touched $ 900,000,000 with an increase of 41.2% YoY; the import value hit $ 3,370,000,000 with an increase of 14.2% YoY.
