    2010 Export of Metal Materials in Kunshan, Jiangsu Breakthroughs ten thousand tons

    (China Aluminum Network) Kunshan Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Statistics showed that Kunshan city total exports of metal materials in 2010 reached 340 lots of 10005.4 tons with total value of 14,680,000 dollars, which respectively rose by 13.0%, 9.3% and 2.2% YoY. Nonferrous metals exports reached 1495 tons with total value of 6,149,000 dollars, which rose by 9.2% YoY in terms of amount and 61.5% in terms of value. The growth was obvious.


    Generally 2010 unit weight of metal materials slipped from previous $ 1,568 / ton to $ 1,467 / ton, 6.4% decline. Seen from products varieties changes, the growth of non-ferrous metal manganese, copper, profiled bar and iron wire increased significantly. The value rose by 183.1%, 63.8%, 73.6% and 84.5% respectively. Deformed steel, other steel & iron products and aluminum dropped significantly. The value dropped by 92.7%, 67.3% and 33.1%respectively.
