Domestic scrap aluminum price is lower comparatively and becomes more popular

£¨China Aluminum Network£©For long time most aluminum alloy ingot factories in China have purchased foreign aluminum scrap as their raw material. As aluminum scrap price is low comparatively in China, some factories of aluminum alloy ingot have expanded their buy of domestic aluminum scrap.

It is learned that China largest secondary aluminum manufacturer---Shanghai Xinge. The company’s purchasing of aluminum scrap in domestic market accounts for 40% of total purchasing.

Learned from industry insider, although currently domestic aluminum scrap has advantage, aluminum alloy ingot factories still don’t purchase aluminum scrap in large quantities, mainly because of China’s imperfect of scrap recycling and dismantling system. Aluminum scrap supply can’t keep stably. On the other hand, compared with foreign aluminum scrap, domestic scrap aluminum has low quality. So domestic scrap aluminum still cant replace imported scrap. But with the perfection of domestic scrap recycling system and increased supply, aluminum alloy ingot factories will increase gradually their purchasing of domestic scrap aluminum in the future and the growth will keep rise quickly.
